Zimmermann compact German piano

Introduction. The Zimmermann piano company dates back to 1884 in Leipzig. A second factory was opened in 1904 becoming one of Europes largest piano builders. They became a global piano exporter of over 400,000 instruments. In 1992 Bechstein took over and Zimmermann and Bechstein regrouped production in Saxony. Today, the modern Zimmermann pianos are produced in China.

The Piano. This compact piano was built in Germany in 1986. It measures 109cm tall, 142cm long and 52cm deep making it ideally sized for the home. It has 88 keys, brass finishings, 3 pedals and the cabinet has a high gloss finish with lovely wood grain.

The tone is clear and sweet and the action is medium light to the touch. This piano a really good choice for starter to early advanced pianists.
