Introduction. Yamaha is of course one of the most famous manufacturers of quality musical instruments. Their attention to detail and quality is very much in the top rank of piano builders and has been for many years. The reason they remain at the pinnacle of piano building is due to their constant refining and developing of their products. The YU1 is such a product.

The Piano.  The YU1 takes the benchmark piano but with many added benefits. It is an instrument that has longer strings and a larger than standard soundboard. The cabinet keeps its simple elegant design. That Yamaha action is renown for its smoothness and easy usability, our YU1 here also has these excellent virtues. As we all know these versatile instruments are in many ways the perfect piano, ideal for beginners right through to advanced musicians. The YU1 is a relativley rare and therefore a sought after model, this one is from 1998. Our lovely piano has the typical Yamaha action which is very satisfying to use and a wonderfully open, clear tone that is not too bright, sweetly singing and capable of great power.

The U1 measures at 121cm tall, 151cm long and 62cm deep. It has 88 keys and 3 pedals.
