Introduction. The Schaefer brand is a brand that had a moment in the spotlight in the 1980s and 1990s as a good value piano brand. They were essentially a ‘stencil’ brand that were common at the time that offered instruments that were good value. Many were terrible and had short lives, others were built by good manufacturers such as Schaefer who were built by Samick and Young Chang. These pianos have solid construction, good sound quality and responsive action making them superb student pianos.

The Piano. Our piano here is in good condition both inside and outside. The cabinet is the modern design and is in very good condition. The action is responsive giving the performer good control. Schaefer is built using good solid construction techniques which allows it to produce to good clear tone. We feel that this piano is ideal for those just starting out on their piano journey through to early advanced musicians.
